We are getting closer to our day of departure for our grand tour of Europe with our children! We will be leaving Canada in August and hopefully return in April 8 months later. Our tour will take us through several European countries, as well into Morocco and Egypt. Please stay posted as this page will hopefully change when we are getting closer to the day of departure. We are hoping to update this page either weekly or daily depending on internet connections.
Right now I am working on getting an international phone and leasing a car for 5 months. If anyone has ideas about the above please pass them along. If there is somewhere in Europe that we must see please let us know why we must see it. If you have relatives or close friends where we maybe able to hang out tell us so that we can save some money on accommodations.
Our first stop will be in England and Scotland for 3 weeks. When we get off the plane we want to go to Buckingham Palace, eat some fish and chips, ride the "eye" then get some sleep.

There is one place that I really wanted to visit in London, but didn't get a chance to see. Go see the wax museum. I have heard that it is amazing.

When you go to Scotland, for sure check out Stirling. Lots of history there re: William Wallace and the castle.
